About the artist

Hello, my name is Megan Chester.
I am a graduate of the Art Institute of Charlotte with my AA in Graphic Design. My entire life there has never been anything outside of design that I have wanted to do.

Currently my focus is in designing corporate identities ranging from Logos, brochure designs, trade show displays, to various print designs. Most recently I have been learning the intricacies of web layouts and design, further expanding my knowledge and skills. I plan to continue my education for multimedia, and am working to perfect my design skills. My strongest desire is to bring my positive energy and creativity to each client and project.

My recent employment with FastSigns has been an incredible experience. Not only was I able to immediately begin to grow in my field, but I was also given the chance to learn the building blocks of a business, the different aspects of customer service, design, and production in the print industry. Hired immediately after graduation I spent the next two years steadily building my experience, earning several promotions along the way. Once promoted to Assistant Manager I was one-on-one with my customers, controlling projects from start to finish.

Outside of my career with FastSigns I also focused on building my own freelance business, Motiongraphics. I work mostly with smaller non-profit organization, churches, and small new local businesses. There is nothing as rewarding as being able to grow with another up and coming company and having my design as part of that beginning. Graphic Design is my life, my dream, and I hope to find a company to learn from and grow with.
